This tour begins from Chiangmai to ChiangDao Elephant Camp - a lovely wooded valley and a popular tourist attraction get to see (Elephants at work) in the jungle.
Proceed on to Thaton (River trips by long tailed boats - on Maekok River) many hill tribe villages can be seen along this trip. Arrived in Chiangrai - a good base and jumping off the northernmost area of Thailand. Mark as the " gateway to the Golden Triangle" by the american in the Vietnam war built in 1267AD by the heroic king Mengrai and founder of the Lanna dynasty. Tour continues to the town of Chiangsaen, possibly the oldest town in Thailand and the originator of the Lanna empire.

Proceeding on to the Golden Triangle - the point where the borders of Thailand, laos and Myanmar ( formerly known as Burma ).The Golden Triangle has a notorious history. Proceeding onwards to Maesai a busy frontier town situated next to the Myanmmar borders, the northermost town in Thailand. (Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch provided).
